What content can you expect?

The Active Amputee will inform you about new developments in the prosthetic sector, about inspiring stories by other people with limb differences, about special events for amputees, about funding options and peer support groups for people with disabilities and about new posts on my blog/new videos on the Youtube channel. In addition I will inform you about developments here at The Active Amputee headquarters.

How often can you expect to hear from me?

At the moment I send out about one newsletter per quarter (more or less). There might be a longer break during the summer holiday season and around Christmas/New Years. There might be a few more mails if new and exciting developments are in the making.

I use MailChimp

Here at The Active Amputee I use MailChimp to get my newsletters to you. MailChimp is also used for collecting and hosting your email address and additional information used to send out the newsletter and analyse its performance.

Double Opt-In and Opt-Out

Here at The Active Amputee I use the so-called Double-Opt-In process on all sign-up forms for the mailing list. While a bit more complicated, this process ensures that you are not signed-up by someone else. Obviously every subscriber has the right to leave the mailing list at any time and without giving a reason. A link to leave the mailing list can be found in the footer of each newsletter. Or contact me directly and I take you off the list.

Stats and newsletter performance

In order to constantly improve our newsletter and keep it as relevant to you as possible, we analyse how people respond to it; whether the newsletter is opened, which links are clicked etc. By subscribing to my mailing list you agree to the use of these analysis tools.
